COMPANY HISTORY

William M. Kellert, CPA, P.C. was organized in 2000. It grew out of a small part-time bookkeeping firm that was run by an acquaintance of William Kellert’s. The owner of the bookkeeping firm was planning to move and was inquiring about selling the business. After having garnered over seventeen years working in public accounting and seven years in the corporate world, Mr. Kellert was eager to accept the challenge of running his own firm.
After incorporating, and obtaining all the proper licenses, Bill converted the bookkeeping firm into William M. Kellert, CPA, P.C., - a certified public accounting practice.
William M. Kellert, CPA, P.C. prides itself in our ability to maintain a close relationship with all of our clients. We value each relationship and the trust and confidence that our clients put in us. One measure of our ability to maintain that trust and confidence is displayed by the fact that many of those clients that started with us in 2000 still remain clients of ours today.

WILLIAM M. KELLERT, CPA William M. Kellert, CPA graduated from Emory University in 1982 and earned a Masters of Taxation degree from Georgia State University in 1990. Prior to starting his own CPA firm, he has worked for both Touche Ross, (a former big-eight accounting firm) and a local CPA firm for over 11 years. He has also worked for Trust Company Bank of Georgia where he helped to establish the cost accounting department and for WorkComp Solutions, where he assisted in the start-up of a Workers’ Comp company and served as the CFO. Outside of work, Bill enjoys spending time with his family, baseball, horses and volunteer work.
